We took the morning trip for king salmon and we were not disappointed. Captain Benny and 1st mate Josh were phenomenal and very experienced at what they do and it showed with fish in the box!! Capt Craig and First Mate Austin went above and beyond to give my family the fishing trip of a lifetime. The fishing was incredible, at one time we had 4 fish on the line and we were able to get our limit of Trout and also a few King Salmon. Mega Bite is the best fishing guide service in Michigan!!!! Our family cannot say enough good things about our experiences the past (6) years with both Captain Ben and his first mate (Austin) for both fishing for salmon and lake trout in Travers Bay. Great with our kids, always put us on fish, fun to BS with during the trip and most important with younger kids- they keep the boys safe! For this trip, we went out with the owner (Captain Adam) and his first mate (Griffin) out of Leland and OMG- what a trip!! Monster KING SALMON! Boated (10) and missed (4). Captain Adam was super patient with our boys as it can get exciting when a 36" / 20lb KING is on your rod. Griffin is a pro with the net to make sure those trophy fish do not swim away after a (20) minute fight. Its great to fish with outstanding guides, but Captain Adam and Griffin were first class people as well. Five stars- Strong recommendation!! Book your trip and have a blast with your family!!
