Ron first mated and helped build the Mega Bite experience from 2014 to 2019. He then obtained his Captains license and started guiding on his own and building his experience and understanding of the area while helping out from time to time on our larger boats. Since then Ron has emerged as one of the top Smallmouth Bass Fishing Guides in the area.

Ron provides Smallmouth bass fishing trips from April all the way through November (Weather allowing). The ideal group size for these trips are 1-3 people. Ron will provide you with all the coaching and advice needed to help you be successful on your trip. He values your experience over everything else which is why he rarely picks up a rod for himself besides to help instruct you or suggest a change to increase your effectiveness!
